Robot Kubota KATR wins CES Innovation Award

Kubota North America has won the Best of Innovation Award at the CES Innovation Awards 2025 with its robot, the Kubota KATR.

The Kubota KATR is an innovative, compact four-wheeled robotic vehicle featuring a stable load platform with advanced stability control. This allows the robot to transport loads of up to 240 kg in both the agriculture and construction sectors, even on hills and slopes.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) organizes the CES Innovation Awards annually, recognizing groundbreaking technological innovations worldwide. Kubota will officially receive the Best of Innovation Award during CES 2025, held from January 7 to 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Versatile robot

The Kubota KATR won in the category of Industrial Equipment and Machines. A panel of experts evaluated the robot on innovation, engineering, functionality, and design.

Brett McMickell, Chief Technology Officer of Kubota North America, highlighted the robot’s versatility, emphasizing its design for dual use in agriculture and construction, making it a cutting-edge solution for modern industries.
