John Deere adds Pessl weather stations to portfolio

The John Deere philosophy is that it’s customers can acquire everything they need for their business at 1 address – Deere itself. Since more tractors and machines rely on precision agriculture data, the availability of, say, weather stations is one of Deere’s areas of interest.

Integration

The advantage for Pessl is that John Deeres dealer network offers access to a large agricultural market. And John Deere dealers now have access to the whole portfolio of Pessl. Sales en service will be taken care of by the latter. Thanks to the cooperation the dealers can integrate Pessl-equipment into Deeres Operations Centre.

Pessl will continue to sell its products as independent company as well.
