Fox Robotics announces that Hugo RT™ Gen. III is now commercially available. In collaboration with Defra and Innovate UK and a £1 million grant fuelling the quest for innovation, the company unveils Hugo RT™ Gen. III.

Hugo RT TM (Rough Terrain) (patent pending) is an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) designed for soft fruit logistics. The robot operates as an orchestrated fleet that are deployed that work with a team of pickers across the farm. The robot has been designed to be used in fields and polytunnels, supporting pickers by delivering empty trays, collecting, and weighing picked produce and transporting to mobile collection points.

The Hugo RT TM has two safety bumpers, 360° access to emergency stops. It has been trained using AI to be able to recognise and differentiate between humans, drivable paths and obstacles. The web interface software is the primary way farm supervisors plan and monitor their operations. This software can be accessed from any smart device.
