Danish company AgroIntelli is working together with French company Euromagri to launch the autonomous field robot Robotti in France.
“France, home country for well-established Naïo Technologies robots, has definitely a potential and has been considered as an attractive location for our robot” – says Jakob Bebe, AgroIntelli’s CCO. “Today the opportunities are opening up with our partner Euromagri. That’s a good start, but in order to succeed, we need coverage for several parts of the country. That’s why our presence at World FIRA 2021 will be to further establish our presence in France”.
The modular Robotti is diesel powered and equipped with a 3-point hitch. It does not require predesigned implements. It’s able to autonomously perform a long range of operations that a tractor usually would do, such as seeding, weeding and spraying.
“As the distributors of the greatest brands of agricultural equipment, we need to follow the newest trends,” said David Rein, CCO of Euromagri. “Field robots are taking bigger and bigger shares in precision agriculture. Robotti fits to our portfolio, as it is one of the few robots on the market that is not limited by only a single operation and can perform many different tasks in a precise manner – and all this autonomously.
