The Heliplane combines the advantages of a multirotor UAV with a fixed drone. You don’t need a runway to fly. Once airborn, the Heliplane can fly up to 10 km. The transition between the 2 flight modes is fully automatic. The drone comes in 2 sizes: Large (wingspan: 230 cm) and Extra-Large (wingspan: 270 cm).
If needed, you can disassemble the wing and turn it into a multi-rotor drone. The Heliplane has a carbon fiber and kevlar frame. It can carry up to 1.6 kg of payload.
Drone Volt offers a range of accessories for the Heliplane, such as cameras, RGB + RTK cameras and Lidar. Prices for the Heliplane v.2 start at € 42,000 excl. VAT.
