Claas will gradually replace the existing Operator and Communicator II operating terminals with the Cemis 700 from the summer of 2020.
Claas announces its new Cemis 700 terminal for Isobus applications. This new terminal will gradually replace the existing Operator and Communicator II operating terminals (currently not available in the UK).
The Cemis 700 will be initially available as an option from October 2020 for Disco Butterfly mower combinations, the Rollant 540 round baler, Quadrant square balers and Cargos loader wagons. These are factory-equipped with an Isobus connection. So if you‘re happy with your existing Isobus terminal, you don’t need anything else. If you‘d like to purchase a new terminal, you can buy the 700 for an additional cost of € 897 (1,022 USD).

The new Cemis 700 terminal features an ergonomic design in elegant black with smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces. Claas says the 700 stands out above all for its configuration with 10 backlit Isobus hard keys as well as a rotary/push button.
The high-contrast colour display with touch function features a 7-inch screen and automatic day/night switching. The camera input also supports the display of real-time images from up to two cameras, which can be changed at the touch of a button or automatically. This gives the operator a clear view of the essential functions of the add-on device or the area behind the machine.

Aux-O and Aux-N as well as UT1 and UT2 functions and ISO 11783 compatibility are certified by the Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF). In addition to language and screen brightness, the settings menu also allows the operator to individually adjust the volume of the integrated speaker (for information and warning tones). The protection class IP 65 is also fulfilled.
