German machine manufacturers Bergmann, Briri, Kotte and Zunhammer have joined the consortium.

Agrirouter, the German data communication platform by DKE-Data, announces that German machine manufacturers Bergmann, Briri, Kotte and Zunhammer have joined the consortium.

CCI 800 or CCI 1200 terminals

Each of the companies manufactures machines for transport and application of slurry/manure and/or organic fertilisers. Apart from Kotte, they all use CCI 800 or CCI 1200 terminals. As the CCI terminals are agrirouter ready, its capabilities are immediately available for products from these manufacturers. Kotte aims at agrirouter capability in Autumn this year.

Obligatory documentation coming up

According to DKE-Data, farmers and contractors should benefit from these additions as authorities of certain federal states are working on accepting or demanding digital documentation of slurry/manure application. With a connection to agrirouter, data can be easily exchanged wirelessly between machines and available software products.

Targeted application based on individual fertiliser planning

Working with application maps and thus applying variable rate application (VRA), results in targeted application based on individual fertiliser planning and digital documentation of the activity as a basis for compliance with the new fertiliser ordinance (Düngeverordnung).

Simplification of agrirouter ecosystem

Another improvement DKE-Data says, is a simplification of the so-called agrirouter ecosystem that was considered not intuitive enough by users. Now there is a standard group for machines and a standard group for software solutions. If a farmer or contractor has connected a software and a machine to his account, data can be exchanged directly. If he wishes to view a machine individually outside the standard groups, he removes the machine from the standard group and creates individual data exchange routes for this machine. The same applies to the software.

Another new feature is the ability to transport additional information such as job names for each message. This meta information makes it easier, for example, to select the right task on the terminal in the tractor/machine.

The agrirouter platform was initiated at Agritechnica 2017 and officially launched in February 2019.
