Netafim announces irrigation innovations at EIMA 2024
Precision Agriculture business group Netafim will promote GrowSphere™, an all-in-one irrigation operating system, and launch Orion PC™, the first-thin wall, pressure-compensated dripline, at this year’s EIMA, taking place from November 6-10, 2024 in Bologna.
GrowSphere is an operating system automating precision irrigation and fertigation that has delivered benefits to farmers across diverse topographies and climates. The system improves operational efficiency and providing reliable implementation for growers at all stages of their irrigation and fertigation automation journey. The operating system combines agronomic expertise and crop data with digital farming technologies including IoT, cloud computing and data analytics. GrowSphere integrates three capabilities – hydraulic, operational and agronomic – into one operating system.
Orion PC™ dripline
The Orion PC dripline is a thin-wall, pressure-compensated irrigation solution designed for precision, uniformity, durability, and clogging resistance across various field shapes and crop types. Delivering precise, equal amounts of water over a broad pressure range, the dripline ensures consistent water and nutrient distribution along the laterals. Moreover, Orion PC also lowers operational costs by allowing longer laterals runs, lowering the number of irrigation blocks, saving water, fertilizer, and energy. Additionally, the longer lateral design reduces system costs and simplifies operation, ultimately boosting profitability.
