What is the most striking detail of your system?
Our goal is to make high-end GNSS equipment accessible to a wider range of users. To achieve this, CHCNAV’s top priority is hardware. CHC features world-class GNSS boards, capable of receiving signals from all existing constellations (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BDS) as well as those still under development (QZSS). In addition, our system supports all major GNSS correction technologies, including SBAS, NTRIP RTK, Radio RTK, and PPP. This ensures adaptability to rapid technological advancements and protects customers from outdated investments.

How is it fitted?
The motor steering system replaces the original steering wheel. The IMU, camera, and steering controller are integrated within the GNSS receiver, while the GSM modem is built into the tablet. This means only four key components need to be installed in the tractor, providing a high-end system with minimal setup.

Can it be fitted on pre-installed or factory fitted vehicle components?
Yes, CHC offers solutions for CAN bus and PWM communication-based integrated automatic steering systems. This makes it compatible with most steer-ready agricultural vehicles manufactured in the last 20 years.

Can you transfer the system to another vehicle?
Yes, system transfer depends on customer preferences. Some users choose to move only the receiver and tablet – especially if one tractor is auto-steer ready while another requires an electric motor. Others transfer the entire system between vehicles.

What happens if satellite or correction signals fail?
CHC receivers utilize multiple GNSS constellations, tracking an average of 39 satellites across Europe, making signal loss extremely rare. In controlled tests simulating signal failure, the system’s recovery time matched that of leading-brand receivers. GSM and NTRIP RTK corrections, however, depend on local GSM coverage. To address this, CHC employs buffering technology, allowing continued RTK precision for 10 minutes if the GSM signal is lost. If longer backup is required, the DRSmooth feature enables the receiver’s last-known position as a reference, maintaining sufficient accuracy for up to 30 minutes. The system loses only 1 mm of accuracy per minute, allowing farmers to finish their work if RTK corrections fail unexpectedly.

What patterns are available?
The NX612 offers a wide range of patterns, with some customizable to suit different farming tasks. Users can easily find a pattern best suited to their specific requirements.

How often and at what costs is the software updated?
Software and firmware updates are released almost monthly and are available free of charge online. Users can update their system at any time with the push of a button.

Which licenses/unlocks are available?
Available unlockable features include Auto U-TURN, ISOBUS UT, TC & GEO, and cloud services.
