World FIRA 2025 is on the doorstep and bound to gather 80 exhibitors and 3,000 visitors from across the globe. Will you be joining us?
The 9th edition of World FIRA will take place on 4, 5 and 6 February, at the Agrobiopôle in Auzeville Tolosane close to Toulouse (France). Since its initial creation by GOFAR in 2016, World FIRA has continuously expanded, offering an international platform for farmers, experts, and industry stakeholders interested and involved ag robotics and autonomy. While the first editions primarily drew a national crowd as well as international researchers, the past editions attracted a more mature audience and crowd from across the world, including tractor manufacturers and other multinational companies.
2 years ago, GOFAR and their co-organisers decided to expand and enrich the event with live outdoor demonstrations. This proved to be an excellent addition attracting not only more and more farmers, but also more international and established exhibitors and visitors. Since then, the demo area has steadily expanded. This year, 4 demo zones spanning 2.5 hectares have been prepared for 80 exhibitors and the expected 3,000 visitors. With demonstrations under real conditions for field crops, specialised crops, vegetables, orchards and vineyards.
The demo zones are supported by FR CUMA Occitanie (French farmers’ cooperative), the RobaAgri Association, Agrobiopôle (the university campus hosting FIRA) and New Holland. For the first time, there will also be a program dedicated to automation and robotics in mixed farming and livestock operations.
This year will feature themed pitch sessions on current needs for automation on specific crops, and use cases from producers and alike its FIRA USA counterpart, passes for World FIRA are free of charge for farmers and growers (and also for students).
Attendees can also gain knowhow and knowledge by attending the workshops organised by INRAe and RobAgri. The presentations selected will be organised around the three main sessions:
This year, World FIRA welcomes delegations of national and international farmers and dealers. These include Leyton, Sedima and Promodis members from France. Brazilian association Fundecitrus will be bringing their largest citrus growers, Belgium’s Foire de Libramont joins with organic farmers from Liège. Femac and Ansemat will represent Spanish agricultural machinery manufacturers and so will FederUnacoma from Italy. Last but not least, the Netherlands Embassy is joining with a delegation of Dutch manufacturers and institutions.
