Laforge introduces a universal jig for farming equipment, with which GPS adjustments can be made.
By using the Laforge jig, it is possible to adjust the GPS of the equipment relative to the tractor. This ‘smart’ jig, which can be mounted onto the tractor, is suitable for both light and heavy duty field work.
The concept is basically the same as the already known extra ‘ploughing adjustment’, where a separate GPS system makes sure that the plough always follows a straight line, regardless of the tractor deviating from the ideal line. A second GPS signal and GPS guidance system make this possible.

The same adjustment may be needed during for instance sowing or planting. For that reason, Laforge developed the so-called DynaTrac precision jig. With the help of a GPS or camera signal the jig can move fully automatic 25cm to the left or right, in order to ensure that the machine maintains the desired width.
Laforge developed 3 models: a light version, a so-called Premium (around € 10.000), a Premium with power take-off transit (around € 13.000) and the Ultima (around € 16.000). The Ultima can be used on tractors with up to 600 hp. Both Premium models are suitable for tractors with up to 200 hp.
With the DynaTrac precision jig, Laforge has won a golden innovation medal at the upcoming Sima show, which will take place from 24 until 28 February in Paris.
