John Deere to offer Reichhardt guidance technology

John Deere and German company Reichhardt GmbH Steuerungstechnik have agreed on a strategic partnership. Reichhardt’s Green Fit product line will be made available for agricultural machines of many brands. The retrofit solutions will be offered through the John Deere dealer network.

AutoTrac

Initially, AutoTrac guidance solutions will be made available. The partnership is to expand the ability for John Deere dealers to leverage guidance technology on new machinery platforms where no retrofit solutions exist today.

“We want to make guidance systems available to more farmers and contracts, even on machines of other brands”, says Denny Docherty, Vice President Sales & Marketing, John Deere.

Customer training

The John Deere dealer – if necessary, together with Reichhardt – will install the system on the equipment and provide customer training and service to farmers.

Both companies are jointly represented on the Agritechnica 2019 hall 13 at the John Deere booth C40. Reichhardt will also exhibit in hall 15, booth F44.
