A mobile phone app that provides remote on/off control for individual nozzle flow checks is one of several advanced technology features available on a new high capacity trailed sprayer from Kverneland Group.
The iXtrack T6 is available in 5,200-litre, 6,400-litre and 7,400-litre capacities, is compatible with Isobus data exchange electronics, and comes with ErgoDrive headland auto control as standard.
In addition, the machine can be equipped with electronic main valves in the liquid distribution system for operators who want maximum ‘push-button’ functionality.
Distributed by Vicon and Kverneland dealers (dependent upon arrangements in different countries), the iXtrack T6 offers the biggest capacities and highest daily output potential of any model in Kverneland Group’s trailed sprayer range, which currently peaks at 4,600-litres.

Key structural features include a single-spine chassis designed to allow a low centre of gravity for stability and a generous steering angle at the wheels. Axle suspension and air actuated brakes are standard on the T6 but unlike the smaller T3 and T4 sprayers that have telescopic axles for track width adjustment from 1.50m, the T6 is confined to adjustable rims and settings from 1.80m to 2.25m because of its size and weight.
Spraying system details include a choice of piston-diaphragm pumps from 200-529-litre/min outputs, through-boom circulation to discourage residue deposits, and the iXclean multi-step rinsing system.
In basic form, iXclean is operated manually but the Comfort option provides in-cab operation of the priming and rinsing functions, plus automated tank filling. Step up to iXclean Pro, and all valves are configured electrically through isobus and the multi-step rinsing process is fully automatic after a single button push.

A further option is the iXflow sprayline pre-charging system, which delivers liquid to both ends of the boom for a quick reaction to the ‘spray on’ command. This is available as iXflow-E with electronically-operated nozzle valves in sections or with individual control, and iXflow-Air with pneumatic valves in up to 15 sections, and both can operate with Kverneland’s IsoMatch GeoControl section control software and a satellite guidance connection to minimise spraying overlaps.
Working widths from 18m to 40m and numerous part-fold configurations are available with the HSA aluminium and HSS steel booms, which are mounted on parallel linkage that cushions the structure in work and along tracks and roads.

For sloping and hilly ground, different levels of Boom Guide with up to five ultrasonic sensors is designed to automatically regulate boom height and angle. ErgoDrive is standard, which with a single button press switches spraying on and off, lowers and raises the boom, and unlocks and locks the axle steering.
