FJDynamics recently launched their Autosteering Kit, Autonomous Tractor, Smart Sprayer and Smart High-speed Rice Transplanter to global customers. The products were officially launched during an event on 25 September.
FJDynamics (FJD) launched four products globally during an online event, including Autosteering Kit, Autonomous Tractor, Smart Sprayer and Smart High-speed Rice Transplanter.
“Thanks to these devices, we are confident that we are able to help farmers and manufacturers all over the world to overcome some major challenges that agriculture is currently facing, such as the shortage of experienced workers,” said Cristiano Chiang, Product Manager of FJDynamics. “We believe that it will facilitate the digitisation and the automation of agricultural industry.”
The FJDynamics Autosteering Kit, the “New Brain” of agri-robots as FJDynamics calls it, is the result of 3 years of research and development.
FJD Autosteering Kit in semi-autonomous mode is composed of antennas, an electric steering wheel, a control terminal and a sensor module. It can be installed on existing vehicles and obtain positioning information by matching it with a FJD satellite navigation base station. It has functions like high precise straight line operation, curve operation, path memory mode and etc.

The upgraded version is a fully autonomous driving kit, which can not only control the steering wheel to assist driving, but also controls the accelerator, brakes, clutch, gearbox and other systems, making the vehicle fully autonomous.
Dual positioning antennas receive real-time direction and location information of the vehicle to support automatic driving. Dual communication antennas give users the choice between connecting with a mobile base station or CORS service connecting.
The self-developed high-precision sensor can accurately sense movements such as roll angle and pitch angle. It calculates and adjusts offset value in real-time, effectively ensuring high-precision automatic driving, says FJDynamics.
The company says the steering kit is powerful enough to control older machines with aging hydraulic systems, and can work under challenging conditions, such as muddy fields, with accuracy. FJDynamics offers an obstacle avoidance function, which uses radar.
The FJD Autonomous Tractor is equipped with navigation, video-transmission, computer vision technology and automatic control algorithm technology. It is equipped with an electronically controlled gearbox, developed by FJDynamics, which is to increase efficiency with its electronic gear shift.

The self-developed automatic electronic control lifting system can automatically adjust the cultivation depth thanks to a new control system, which makes the tractor more stable and the overall operation more efficient.
The FJD Smart Sprayer is – according to FJDynamics – the world’s first fully autonomous sprayer. The company has developed algoritms that control the sprayer. The Remote Control mode is used to set points according to the characteristics of the working plots. The built-in algorithm then works out the most efficient route, avoiding overspray.
The Control Terminal and Vehicle Control box both control the steering of the vehicle as well as each actuator. Equipped with the antenna system and image transmission module, the system makes smooth transmission of data in multiple modes possible, says FJDynamics.

The sprayer is equipped with various sensors such as angle sensors, IMU, water level sensors, and multi-directional cameras, which monitor the process to ensure that the spraying is being done safely and accurately according to the planned path.
The sprayer is powered by a 25 hp engine, is designed to be lightweigt and offers 1.1 m ground clearance. It’s equipped with high- and low-speed gearing, four-wheel steering and four-wheel drive. FJDynamics says high-quality pumps and nozzles ensure stable sprayer pressure and performance.
The FJD Smart High-speed Rice Transplanter is designed to meet the high demands of heavy transplanting tasks. It offers automatic navigation and transplanting.
Using the so-called Smart mode, the path is automatically planned, using aerial mapping or by setting reference points in the field. The rice transplanter can conduct autonomous high-precision straight driving following the planned path.

FJD uses a RTK-disconnected running mode. The navigation system keeps working for 20 minutes if the RTK signal is disconnected, with the help of a IMU sensor. It reconnects once the signal recovers, which is to ensure working efficiency during rice transplanting.
When the steering wheel is turned to a certain angle, the planting mechanism automatically rises and cuts off the planting clutch to stop planting. The planting part descends automatically when the machine is turning towards the planned operating path.
This rice transplanter is equipped a low-speed anti-trap downshift which increases drive torque, keeping the machine performing well under harsh conditions.
