The VTE field robot by machine manufacturers Krone and Lemken is getting a new version in 2024: version 3.0.

In terms of appearance, the VTE field robot from Krone and Lemken is undergoing minimal changes. However, with version 3.0, it will be possible to easily and quickly transport the robot to the field using your own tractor. To do this, you attach a fixed towing bar between the tractor and the robot, after which the robot follows the tractor like a small trailer, tracking its path.

Focus is on creating smarter machines

Krone and Lemken are keeping details about the changes in version 3.0 relatively scarce. What is certain is that the current focus is on making the machines attached to the VTE field robot smarter, so the robot can also ‘know’ when operations are not going as they should. To be continued.

More information about the VTE field robot can be found at the Agritechnica trade fair in the Krone booth (hall 7, stand F22) and the Lemken booth (hall 11, stand A43) from November 12 to 18 in Hannover, Germany (D.).
