Homburg Belgium, a division of Homburg Holland, has signed a distribution agreement with the Swedish manufacturer Ekobot, following in the footsteps of Homburg Holland. The autonomous robot systems for mechanical weed control will now also be sold in Belgium.

After Homburg Holland announced in January that they would be selling the Swedish weeding robot Ekobot in the Netherlands, Homburg Belgium is now following suit. The Belgian machinery supplier will sell Ekobot machines in Belgium.

The Ekobot is an autonomously driving vehicle that ‘taps’ weeds from crop rows using sensors and moving arms underneath the machine. Additionally, the machine is equipped with hoeing elements that hang in parallelograms.

Delivery, sales, and service of Ekobot machines

In addition to delivering Ekobot machines, Homburg Belgium will also organize their marketing and sales. Furthermore, Homburg Belgium will provide training, support, service, warranty, and spare parts in the Belgian market.
