The 2017 Dino, from French manufacturer Naïo, was one of the first fully electrically powered field robots on the market.
During the Dutch Future Farming & Food Experience on the 31st of May in Lelystad (the Netherlands) twelve field robots and implements for precision hoeing showed what they are capable of. In the upcoming weeks, we will present to you 7 robots, with their own applications and specifications. This weeks video is about the Naïo Dino.
The Dino from the French manufacturer Naïo was one of the first fully automatic field robots on the market in 2017. The experienced robot is capable of hoeing by itself, with a number of limitations. Navigation is done via RTK GPS and a vision system, designed to recognize the crop rows and guide the hoeing machine as accurately as possible.
