DLG and Future Farming magazine invite visitors of the DLG Field Days at the Brockhof Estate in Erwitte to join the DLG Open Innovation Showcase on 12 June for expert opinions and visions on FarmRobotix.

For the first time, DLG, the German Agricultural Society, is organising the new FarmRobotix platform focussing on autonomy and robotics on farms across the world. The platform is to offer visitors to DLG’s international trade fairs and events a forum for know-how transfer and networking. For the premiere of the platform at the upcoming DLG Field Days from 11 to 13 June, Future Farming helps organise and host the ‘Open Innovation Showcase’ session on 12 June.

Future Farming keynote & farmers’ voices

The session will take place at the DLG Plaza (Booth VG159). After a guided tour around the exhibition grounds, Future Farming’s own farm robotics expert René Koerhuis will deliver a keynote at 17:00 hours about the current global status of robots for open field crop production. His motto is ‘Follow the Farmer’ when it concerns promising and less promising developments and innovations and he will explain why.

The keynote (in German) will be followed by an interview/Q&A with farmers with first-hand experience with field robots. What are the advantages and drawbacks and what can we learn from their practical experiences with farm robotics?

Discussion round on robotics and open innovation

At 17:30 hours, precision farming experts from among others Agco, CNH Industrial and One Smart Spray (a joint venture of Bosch and BASF) will take stage for a discussion (in German as well). They will be debating and taking questions about how strong business and innovation ecosystems can support sustainable and efficient growth in the industry in the face of planetary challenges and rapidly advancing technologies.

Don’t Miss Out!

Join us at the DLG Field Days to explore the future of farm robotics. Mark your calendars for 12 June and be a part of the innovation that is transforming agriculture. Visit us at Booth VG159 at 17:00 hours for an inspiring session with industry experts and hands-on insights from farmers.
