At the Agrishow in Ribeirão Preto in the Brazilian state of São Paulo last week, the autonomous Case IH tractor equipped with a cab was shown to the public for the first time.

The autonomous Case IH has the same technology as the ‘autonomous’, a futuristic looking tractor without a cabin that has been shown before. Because this autonomous Case IH has a cabin, the machine can also be used as a ‘normal’ tractor.

Legislation on autonomous vehicles

The first autonomous Case IH is already on the road in Brazil. It is expected that the tractor will be on the market next year. In Brazil there is no legislation on autonomous vehicles, but that seems only a matter of time.
