Trimble Agriculture and xFarm Technologies partner up to help farmers to enhance farm management. Trimble can now offer farmers additional valuable and efficient solutions through integration with the xFarm smart farming app.
xFarm Technologies offers farmers a smart farming app with which you can visualize your land from satellite and land registry, register and program field activities, monitor xFarm sensors data, trace transports and harvest, register and plan maintenance checks, and much more. According to the company, its platform is being used by 120,000 farms, spread over 1.7 million hectares in more than 100 countries.
The latest updates to xFarm Technologies’ smart farming app enable even more accurate and comprehensive machinery and equipment data management. The platform offers farmers task dispatch to machinery, automatic logging of activities performed by equipment, and predictive maintenance.
Its interface provides a unified view of all the most important machinery, regardless of brand. It allows farmers to see what is happening on the farm, even in the case of large fleets. It also enhances the telemetry visualization of all vehicles.
xFarm Technologies offers a single platform to manage multi-brand fleets directly from its app. It aims to promote the interconnection of agricultural ecosystems and address technology fragmentation. To this end, xFarm Technologies has involved over 50 partners. One of these partners is Trimble Agriculture.
Thanks to the partnership with Trimble Agriculture, farmers using the xFarm app will access more data about vehicles equipped with Trimble systems. Farmers using Trimble’s technologies will be able to use data collected with their farm machinery. All farmers using Farmer Core, the Trimble system to manage precision farming data, will have the opportunity to connect the xFarm app to their telemetry module.
Overall, the partnership provides greater integration between the two technologies through a native connection of Trimble Displays and the xFarm app. Trimble customers will be able to send and receive data between the two systems, allowing for interoperability.
The partnership will initially focus on Italy and Spain, two European countries where xFarm Technologies has a strong presence, but will soon extend to the whole EMEA region.
