Trimble Auto Sync synchronises data between multipe displays realtime.

Trimble introduces Auto Sync. This system is able to synchronise data, such as lines and field boundaries, between each display that is being used on one farm.

That way, everybody who works on the same field, will always be supplied with exactly the same data.

Different file names no longer a problem

“In many cases, farm workers will use different file names when they upload field data such as lines and boundaries. The same person may even use a different file name the second time he works the same field. With Auto Sync this is no longer a problem; the system will synchronise the data sets coming from one field on all displays, in each tractor or machine that is being used on that field,” explains Trimble.

The best driver generates the data

Another advantage of Trimble Auto Sync is that the system can be set up in such a way that only one person is able to upload or change field data. “The best driver on the farm can then set out the lines, for every worker on the farm to use,” says Trimble.

Bluetooth module for implement recognition

Trimble also introduces Balise Bluetooth: a small and affordable Bluetooth device that can be attached to an implement. When the implement is hooked up to a tractor, the terminal in the tractor automatically recognises the implement and loads all the correct data, such as working width. Balise Bluetooth is available for Trimble Precision-IQ.
