Sentera launches new Mavic Double 4K drone sensor
Sentera’s new Double 4K precision agriculture sensor for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone offers 4K quality at entry-level pricing.
Several system configurations are available including collection of normalised difference vegetation index (NDVI), normalised difference red edge (NDRE), and high-resolution RGB data in a single flight.

By retaining full functionality of the DJI Mavic 2 Pro stock camera while integrating the Sentera Double 4K sensor onto the drone, ag professionals can capture more data in a single flight.

The Double 4K sensor is to deliver outstanding high-resolution crop health imagery and data.
For the Mavic 2 Pro, Sentera will offer the Double 4K Sensor in 2 different configurations:
- Five-band Multispectral (blue, green, red, red edge, and near-infrared (NIR)
- Precision NDVI + Precision NDRE (for use with specific digital agriculture platforms)
Leveraging the Data
All data is seamlessly compatible with Sentera’s FieldAgent web, mobile, and desktop software, integrating the Double 4K data with all major digital agriculture platforms.
Existing Mavic 2 Pro drones can be sent directly to Sentera for modification. Producers who want to obtain a new Mavic 2 Pro drone with an installed Sentera Double 4K Sensor ($ 4,728) can purchase an integrated system directly through Sentera.
