Job data transfer with Raven Slingshot
Raven has added new job handling services to the Slingshot and Viper 4 platforms: Job Generator and Job Sync.
Job Generator is a new tool that is to help increase efficiency and reduce the risk of mistakes. Users are now able to prepopulate important job data, including field attributes and location, products, rates and other useful information that can be sent to compatible Raven field computers instantly and wireless using Slingshot.
Raven says Job Generator helps organise work for the agronomist, dispatcher or operator to save setup time. It also reduces the need to enter a job redundantly, ultimately reducing errors and saving the operation time and money.
Machine-to-machine
Job Sync is Slingshot’s new machine-to-machine, shared-coverage functionality. With it, multiple users can collaborate on a job simultaneously or days apart which should eliminate the risk off overlap or misapplication between multiple machines. Operation is supposed to be as easy as starting and completing a normal job.
Slingshot subscriptions are available for Viper 4 and Viper 4+ field computers, with plans to expand to the CR7 and new CR12 field computers later this year.
