The roll-out of Trimble’s Vantage ‘premier dealer’ network world-wide has reached the UK with the appointment of long-time Trimble distributor AS Communications – now branded Vantage England & Wales.

According to Séverine Brisset, regional sales manager at Trimble, Vantage dealers have a deep understanding of precision agriculture and machinery brands, and the ability to work with farmers as a trusted adviser.

“They can provide integrated, end-to-end solutions inclusive of hardware, software, positioning services and data for each operation’s unique needs,” said Ms Brisset. “By integrating all the technology at work on a farm – including hardware from other brands in the market – we can link software, services, data management and the machine to make big changes for our customers.”

Vantage England & Wales will trade on its 30 years of experience in new premises and is appointing additional staff to allow for expansion.

Improved solution for farming customers

General manager David Bowman said that as a ‘premier distributor’, the firm will have access to a wider range of products, as well as top-level support to offer an improved solution for farming customers.

“So far we’ve offered hardware and guidance systems – now we’re moving into the data management side of precision agriculture,” he said.

He added that by stocking complementary products, the business will be capable of providing an integrated precision package.
