Case IH collaboration makes data sharing simple
US growers operating Case IH equipment with AFS Connect data sharing can now transfer information into a number of cloud-based agronomic decision-making programmes.
The collaboration initiative will give producers new options for linking their farm with advisers, enabling two-way wireless information sharing between the Case IH AFS Connect farm management system and third-party service providers.

“Producers have indicated that they want seamless, secure transferability of agronomic data between machines and trusted advisers,” says Leo Bose, Case IH AFS marketing manager.
“These new service providers, along with the AFS Connect data sharing feature, provide just that, so producers can make the most of their agronomic data and drive daily management decisions.”
Share maps and patterns
From any computer or tablet connected to the internet, producers can securely share agronomic data such as yield maps and guidance line patterns from their AFS Pro 700 monitor to other software systems.
These include Decisive Farming’s My Farm Manager web platform, DuPont Pioneer’s Encirca services, MapShots’ AgStudio software and AgIntegrated’s OnSite technologies.

In return, advisers and service providers can send the grower planting, seeding and fertiliser prescriptions and more.
Case IH says it is keen to sign up other agronomic service providers to promote inter-communication between different software products.
