Ag Leader launches GPS 7500 and DualTrac

With the new GPS 7500 GNSS receiver, Ag Leader “brings the next level of exceptional positioning to the farm,” the company says. “With improved satellite reception (multi-band), the extended range of correction sources (GLIDE up to RTK) and the integrated StableLoc correction transition feature, the GPS 7500 increases the productivity of the operation.”

Combined with SteerCommand, the GPS 7500 offers 2.5cm RTK accuracy using the Relay 400, Relay 900 or InCommand NTRIP Client.

Combined with SteerCommand, the GPS 7500 offers 2.5cm RTK accuracy using the Relay 400, Relay 900 or InCommand NTRIP Client, according to the Dutch company. “The GPS 7500 is multi-functional in both rover and base station installation. Due to the Wi-Fi capability within the GPS 7500, it allows for (mobile) base station configuration from a smart phone or tablet.”

For ultimate precision, Ag Leader launches DualTrac. “This dual GNSS receiver solution offers the highest accuracy for farmers that is possible nowadays. DualTrac always knows the exact position, direction and leveling of the vehicle, even at standstill and ultra-slow speeds.”

High-accuracy automated steering at ultra-slow speeds

“SteerCommand with DualTrac brings an offering to the market that meets the needs of many farmers requiring high-accuracy automated steering at ultra-slow speeds,” said Bill Cran, Ag Leader Product Specialist. “New GNSS technology in the GPS 7500 was leveraged to make this possible and also adds new satellite and correction offerings, including TerraStar-C Pro.”

TerraStar-C Pro

TerraStar-C Pro is the new world-wide correction source that offers 3cm accuracy and in most regions a convergences times less than 18 minutes. “TerraStar-C Pro is the ultimate correction source for rural areas, without radio or cell coverage, but with the demand of high-accuracy positioning,” says Ag Leader.

Both the GPS 7500, DualTrac and TerraStar-C Pro are introduced at the EIMA International Agricultural Exhibition in Bologna on the Ag Leader stand.

The GPS 7500, DualTrac and TerraStar-C Pro are now available at local dealerships.
