Swiss Agtech company Ecorobotix has introduced 10 new beta crop algorithms for its AI-powered Plant-by-Plant software, further advancing the precision of its ARA ultra-high precision sprayer. These developments expand the range of supported crops.

The latest software update (version 5.01) includes new crop-specific algorithms for various crops, such as broccoli, cauliflower, cotton and sweet corn. These beta features are available free of charge for ARA sprayer users during the testing phase. Farmers using these algorithms can provide valuable feedback to refine agronomic performance, helping to shape the future of precision spraying technology.

Enhanced paid algorithms for 2025

Following successful beta testing in 2024, optimised algorithms for Carrots and Dock + Thistle (Grasslands) are now offered as paid features. These solutions have been fine-tuned for high accuracy in varying field conditions, further reducing the need for chemical inputs while ensuring effective crop protection.

Advancing sustainability and precision agriculture

With over 20 crop-specific algorithms now available, the ARA sprayer delivers unparalleled precision in applying herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers, and biostimulants. By targeting plants individually, the system achieves up to 95% reduction in chemical usage, supporting sustainable farming without sacrificing productivity. Additionally, farmers growing crops not yet covered by specific algorithms can use flexible solutions like the All-Green or Row algorithms.

Currently, Ecorobotix’s solutions are deployed in 15 European countries, Canada, South America, the U.S., and New Zealand, reinforcing its global impact on sustainable agriculture.
