Description
The robot is a multipurpose tool carrier. To carry (task-specific) standard tractor implements, up to three category 1 task specific implements can be attached to the robot at the same time. There is a 3-point linkage on the front, middle and rear of the machine. It can basically do any task along a predefined path, as long as there is an existing implement to perform it. Both length and width of the machine can be easily modified according to the wishes of the client. A diesel/hydraulic version is commercially available by the end of 2021. An electric version is being tested and available on demand.
Drive train type
Diesel/hydraulic version is available. Electric version is being tested.
Characteristics
Both diesel-hydraulic and electric versions have about 20 kW of power. The linkages can lift 300 kg each however it is recommended to limit the weight of front and rear implements to 150 kg. Traction power is sufficient for most crop care activities. The robot is not suitable for heavy tillage.
Navigation system
The robot is equipped with LIDAR sensors that can detect obstacles in the vicinity of the robot. Currently, the robot can be manually teleoperated and will be able to navigate autonomously in 2022. Autonomous navigation of the robot will be fully based on a dual antenna RTK-GPS. Will be able to navigate autonomously in 2024.
