Description
The Arbus 4000 JAV uses an electrical multifan system and multicontrol spraying system to provide intelligent section control. Spraying will only take place where there is green mass present. The laser scanning analyses the environment and produces an intelligent application, adjusted to the size of the plants. This system acts in conjunction with the fan system, activating fans only when spraying. Electric motors for the fan control optimize power consumption creating more performance and decreasing fuel consumption. Interactive control of the vehicle is possible through a console. A fleet manager can work with several robots at the same time.
Drive train type
Diesel engine
Characteristics
The Arbus 4000 JAV is projected to work with citrus crops; the machine uses a tank with a 4.000 ltr capacity. The steering system and its path planning algorithm allows high manouverability and allows the vehicle to operate in very harsh terrains and conditions.
Navigation system
The robot navigation is based on a two-phase navigation scheme. Primarily, a map of the area will be analysed. The operation will be planned in order to achieve the best possible performance of the vehicle. Once the vehicle is operating, it can use its onboard sensors and software to deal with any uncertainties, like obstacles or moving objects such as animals, vehicles, or persons.
