Reinke Manufacturing, a global producer of irrigation systems, announced the launch of the E3, a new series of precision center pivot systems. The E3 system is designed to enhance water management and distribution across diverse field conditions, improving efficiency in irrigation.

The E3 system features uniform coupler spacing, available in 30-inch and 60-inch intervals, to ensure consistent water application along the full length of the system. According to the USDA Center Pivot Evaluation and Design (CPED), this system exceeds previous benchmarks for water uniformity. It includes customizable configurations with spans from 80 feet to 220 feet in 20-foot increments, and inverted truss end booms from 10 feet to 110 feet, enabling uniform outlet spacing regardless of span or boom combinations.

Additional Features

  • An anti-racking truss system designed for increased strength, which helps maintain span alignment and withstand challenging environmental conditions.
  • V-Ring Seals: Proprietary seals at every pipe connection designed to maintain consistent water flow and improve irrigation accuracy.
  • Single-Leg Tower Design: A design intended to minimize crop loss as the pivot moves through the field.
  • Maintenance-Free Bearings: Components made from durable, corrosion-resistant materials that aim to reduce maintenance needs, including the elimination of greasing.
  • ESAC Technology: Electronic Swing Arm Corners (ESAC) designed to improve water distribution, particularly in field corners.Chris Roth, president of Reinke, stated that the E3 system aims to provide irrigation solutions that address operational and environmental challenges in agriculture.

Russ Reinke, first vice president at Reinke, noted that the development of E3 continues the company’s history of innovation, which began with the introduction of the Electrogator center pivot system in 1968.

The E3 system will be available in select markets during the 2025 growing season.
