Compared with other GNSS applications, agricultural automatic guidance faces even more challenges: access to positioning information even in the wild, stable high precision positioning as always, withstanding the test of harsh and variable environments.

Only reliable positioning solutions like Harxon Smart Antenna TS112 can solve these problems in one go.

A high performance smart antenna shall be able to obtain high-precision positioning information anytime and anywhere, even in the wild where it’s hard to set up a base station or where there’s no network infrastructure. Harxon Smart Antenna is an ideal solution for such situations. It can either get access to local base station via its embedded UHF radio or get access to NTRIP Client services via its GSM modem to reach RTK accuracy. Meanwhile, it can get access to Hexagon | NovAtel’s TerraStar correction services to reach centimeter-level accuracy.

There are times when agricultural machinery must work on uneven ground and slopes, RTK signal outages or positioning mode changes will cause inevitable deviations and errors. Harxon Smart Antenna uses Glide technology which offers superior 20cm pass-to-pass performance for agricultural guidance. And its Steadyline technology reduces position jumps when a receiver transitions from a high accuracy RTK position solution to a lower accuracy solution. Also, the Terrain Compensation Algorithm can correct errors in position caused by the roll and pitch of the vehicle by giving the position under the vehicle rather than at the antenna. All these technologies guarantee smoother steering and straighter rows.

Agricultural machinery has to work in various harsh environments, like extreme heat, severe cold and strong vibrations, etc. Consequently, the positioning solution must be enclosed in ruggedised housing to guarantee long-time outdoor use. Harxon Smart Antenna adopts a compact and flat structure design with IP67 rating housing, which ensures good waterproof, dustproof, anti-high & low temperature protections, and anti-vibration protections. Besides, both magnetic supporting and screw mounting are supported for firm connection to the agricultural machinery.

Harxon Smart Antenna combines the most up-to-date GNSS technology with leading-edge receivers in robust and compact enclosures for an easy-to-integrate solution. Whether you need GNSS high-precision positioning, differential data transmission or correction services for enhanced accuracy and robustness, the smart antennas are designed to scale with your growing needs.

Smart Antenna variety

Of the TS112 Smart Antenna Family, there are three models, namely TS112 PRO, TS112 and TS112 SE, to meet different levels of positioning accuracy. Their specifications are as follow:
