The French drone service pioneer and inventor of the multiSPEC 4C multispectral drone camera Airinov, is starting a drone leasing service to make the technology more affordable to farmers.
At this year’s SIMA exhibition, Airinov launched its drone leasing concept consisting of an Agridrone (a senseFly eBee SQ fixed wing), nitrogen fertilisation recommendation and premium support for € 599 per month.
SQ (most likely) refers to the Parrot Sequoia camera fitted to the black/red eBee SQ. The custom eBee is coloured black/yellow.

According to Airinov, (French) farmers can now access expensive drone and sensor technology for an affordable price. Prices for eBee drones can go up to as much as € 25.000 to € 30.000 depending on the specifications.
Airinov nowadays is part of French conglomerate Parrot that invested in Airinov firstly in 2014. Airinov was founded in 2010 and an early adopter of the eBee fixed wing UAV from Swiss company senseFly. In 2012 Airinov and French research institute INRA invented the multiSPEC 4C multispectral drone camera and in the same year senseFly was acquired by Parrot that also owns Swiss software provider Pix4D.
